League karatedo of Siberia and the Far East was founded in 1998 to develop and popularize karatedo within the Siberian Federal okrug and the Far East. The League unites 65 clubs from 9 regions (Novosibirskaya, Tomskaya, Omskaya, Kemerovskaya, Irkutskaya oblasts, Krasnoyarski, Altaiski, Prymorye territories, the republic Gornyi Altai). Traditionally in the opening activities of the League teams from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan take part . In clubs of the Siberian League there are 25 thousands sportsmen. Siberian karatekas enter into teams of Russia every year and take part in the official both World championships and in the championships of Europe. Toshiatsu Sasaki owner of the Black belt 7th Dan JKF, 8th Dan JKMO carries out technical and methodological seminars for trainers and instructors of the Siberian League every year. High qualified referees corps is formed in the Siberian League: 20 referees have all-Russian categories, 8 referees have international categories. In the annual traditional competitions of the Siberian League take part up to one thousand and five hundreds sportsmen.
